Human Resource Certification Institute Recertification

Obtaining your Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) recertification demonstrates a continued dedication to staying up to date with the rapidly changing HR profession. If you hold a current HRCI certification, you can now easily fulfill the requirements for recertification by taking NEF University interactive online training.

Each HRCI-certified professional must earn 60 credit hours during each three-year recertification cycle. These credits can be earned through a combination of continuing education, instruction, on-the-job experience, research and publishing, leadership, and professional membership in a national HR professional association. Alternatively, you can earn all 60 through continuing education alone.

HRCI has approved over 150 hours of NEF University training for continuing education credits toward recertification. HRCI awards recertification credit on an hour-for-hour basis for all educational time in HR-related continuing education events.
